Cooking low waste meals is a great way to start the transition to a sustainable lifestyle. The kitchen is the place in our house that produces the most waste, so it's important to focus our attention there. Check out our meal plan that you can use for a week to reduce waste and help the planet!

 

Monday

Breakfast: Breakfast tacos made with a tortilla wrap, scrambled eggs, avocado, and any other vegetables you may like

Lunch: Bean & cheese quesadillas with guacamole dip

Dinner: Spaghetti with vegetables and garlic toast

Tuesday

Breakfast: Chia pudding with sliced strawberries

Lunch: Grilled Cheese with avocado on the side and tomato soup

Dinner: Stir fry noodles with cucumber salad

Wednesday

Breakfast: Avocado toast with scrambled eggs on the side

Lunch: Turkey and cheese wrap with sliced cucumbers & hummus dip

Dinner: Honey-Soy Grilled Salmon with Edamame

Thursday

Breakfast: Oatmeal with blueberries & bananas

Lunch: Vegetarian chilli 

Dinner: Pasta with a pesto sauce with roasted zucchini on the side 

Friday

Breakfast: Smoothie made from strawberries and bananas with yogurt and granola on the side

Lunch: Chicken fajitas (you can make these vegetarian by swapping the chicken for portobello mushrooms)

Dinner: Pita pizza with any toppings of your liking (mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, etc.)
