Here are 4 EASY Tips for a Staying Sustainable During the Winter:

1. Put On Warm Clothing

As soon as winter comes around, take out all of your winter clothes and get your closets ready for the cozy weather. Your body is very capable of keeping you warm and bundling up in multiple layers will definitely help keep you warm! You can also use blankets to stay extra toasty.

2. Take A Cold Shower

Taking a cold shower might not sound very enticing, but surprisingly it has many advantages! When taking a cold shower, your body will actually keep you warmer for a much longer period of time. Not to mention, they also reduce stress and keep you energized throughout the day

3. Keep Your Body Moving

Step outside to go for a nice walk. Your body will stay warm if you keep it moving!

4. Buy Produce That Fits The Season (buy locally if possible)

There are many vegetables that grow more easily in the wintertime than in other seasons such as pumpkin, squash, cauliflower, potato, leek, beetroot, mushrooms, and many more delicious veggies! As a result, they use much less energy to grow and therefore have the least impact on the environment.
